"Happy New Year." Those were the 3 words I messaged to Abe on a dating website 1/21. He replied & the courtship began. We were wearing matching outfits in 3 months. We lived two hours apart, but Abe visited every weekend for a year and talked daily by phone. I made trips to see him too. Abe courted me. He came to my door in a suit & mask (covid), and gave me gifts based on our nightly telephone calls. The first time we met and hugged, we both knew we found "the one."

Our trip to NYC was so romantic. I scheduled a photo shoot for us in Times Square. When the photographer arrived, he whispered to her that he had a ring & would propose. We went to lots of areas and took pictures. Then on the steps of the library in Bryant Park I waited for my instructions from the photographer. I turned around and he was on his knee and proposed!

We would continue to invest in our community outreach. Abe is a physician for seniors. And I sing. We combine our gifts to present "medicine & music" to seniors. He shares health info & then I sing songs to them. We also prepare senior care packages for those who are homebound or have limited options to run errands and shop. As empty nesters, we are blessed to have found each other and share true and passionate love. We want to give back to our community to demonstrate our gratitude.
