How did your love story begin?

We first met when I was 10 and he was 14. My best friend was his little sister. I remember we would take family bike rides down to the marina where he worked cutting fish when he was 14. He would tease me by throwing some of the fish guts at me. My senior year of high school he asked me to the winter ball. His sister was in the Marines by then and his mom wanted to have a picture of at least one of her children at a dance. I agreed and that is when our friendship truly began.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It is so hard to choose just one, I could truly write a book on all the adventures that we have had, whether good or bad. My personal favorite was the day our daughter, Magnolia, was born. I can still see him holding her for the first time and the way he looked up at me and said that she was perfect. (She still is!) We have worked together for over 12 years to ensure that she grows up with morals, integrity, and tons of unique memories and experiences from her childhood!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would pay off debt so that we are able to focus more of our time on developing the land we bought. We bought some recreational land that we, as a family, are building a vacation cabin on. We would love to make it an off the grid escape for our family to enjoy and to pass down to generations. Whenever we get a chance we like to camp there to work on the cabin, hunt for elk shed, rockhound, and just explore!
