How did your love story begin?

We met in 1999 me, a freshman; him, a senior. He became my go-to, my safe place. We went separate ways in 2002, but after my finals in 2003, he drove 8 hours to surprise me and we’ve been together ever since. From showing up at my grandma’s Dairy Queen to building a life filled with love, laughter, and two amazing kids, we’ve grown through every season. Married in 2012, but our love story started long before. Still choosing each other, always.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories was surprising him for his 30th birthday with the chance to drive real NASCARs. The adrenaline, the roar of the engines—it was unforgettable. He was in his element, flying around the track, living his dream. While it was a ton of fun and such a cool experience to share, the best part? I still beat him! Just a little friendly competition to make the memory even better.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we had $20,000, we’d use it to create lasting memories and invest in our future. As a couple, we’d take a long-awaited trip to recharge and reconnect. As a family, we’d plan an unforgettable vacation to explore the world and experience new cultures. We’d also save for the kids’ future and give back to causes we care about. It’s not just about the money—it’s about growing closer, dreaming big, and giving together.
