Our love story began in high school. We went our separate ways though for about 15 years after that. Then Merl sent Tara a Facebook friend request one day. She accepted and started messaging him on Facebook for the entire day before finally giving her phone number to him before leaving work for the day. That night he sent her a text that simply said "Hi". We reconnected after that and picked up like we had never had any time apart.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?For Tara, it is being in her kitchen after getting home from work that day and hearing her phone go off with a text notification. She opened it and it was from Merl saying the simplest "Hi". Tara never stopped smiling that night. Tara always felt Merl was her soulmate so this moment truly was a dream come true and an answer to prayer. For Merl, it was our first initial meeting back up. We decided to meet up at a restaurant near our hometown. He will never forget seeing her as she walked in.
What would you do with $20,000?We would bless some family members with some, pay off some bills, and have a down payment for a home.
