Two bi women, 9 years apart, interracial love blazing—raw, real, and undeniable. You don’t just see it, you feel it.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Sundins in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met as coworkers at Nike and ended up on a spontaneous group trip to the Dominican Republic. By chance, we shared the master room—and in that week, we shared laughs, deep conversations, and a life-changing first kiss. After returning home, Sam ended her previous relationship, and a few weeks later, we began ours. We've been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The trip to the Dominican Republic that started off our love story. It was the most divine timing for us both. We spent a week getting to know each other and creating memories that would lay the foundation of our relationship. Every single experience we shared on that trip are memories we will never forget.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it to continue our journey of starting a family. Having a child as an LGBTQ couple is not only emotionally and mentally exhausting, but financially draining as well. With Maria being adopted, we are really eager to expand our family and give her a chance to experience her own genes.
