Met online, I was reciting school poetry. We bonded over it. 3 years dated long distance. Saved money and visted one another. Got hitched
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
I live streamed old poetry when he trolled me for it not rhyming- to cheer up his friend. We became friends. A week in he asked me to marry him. I said, "not unless we date, so you have to see me in person." (He lived in Oregon and I lived in southern California). He saved up money for 3 months and flew out to see me. I later moved to Texas and did long distance. Visiting each other over the year. I saved money to move to Oregon. Moved back to California together and had our dream wedding.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The time we lived in Oregon together was the peak of covid and I just signed a lease. The 2 jobs I had interviewed and got hired for called me back 3 days later and said they no longer needed extra people. We did door dash and instacart together despite his school schedule to make ends meet while he was also completing college. He didn't have to but he made every day such a blessing over a burden and I really couldn't have done it without him. In a sense he was my hero.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use $20,000 as a down-payment on our first home together in southern california. Where perhaps I could have a modest farm/ yard to garden in.
