Connect How did your love story begin?

I recognized her in our online game as a Twitch streamer. I went into her stream after the game & we became fast friends. We built a community of hundreds of like-minded people online. We both recently escaped abusive relationships & realized we both had a mutual desire to be understood and respected. When our dark pasts were sealed away as nothing more than lessons, we formed a bond founded on mutual and unfettered respect, where we have been healing and growing every day since, now inseparable

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Every moment is great. Each outing to the store, or night on the couch feels like a date. I planned an elaborate proposal, rounding up dozens of twitch streamers with over 1,500 viewers. We spent EVERY moment together online (She's Canadian, I'm from USA). I had to come up with elaborate plan to get 1500 people to join her stream, live, at the same time - while I was also flying from Oregon to Manitoba, and convince her I was still at home while I snuck up to propose in person, live on twitch.

What would you do with $20,000?

We're building a life together across borders. $20,000 would help furnish our home, cover immigration costs, and make sure we have the freedom to focus on living an intentional life. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed, so we'd make a few smart investments for her content creation, my development work, and use the rest to make sure we're living comfortably, intentionally, and present with each other. Just peace, exploration, and the time to experience it together.
