It all began in 2019, at a hometown event that would unknowingly change our lives. I was there supporting my family, who had done all the beautiful event decorations—think Pinterest-worthy, minus the Pinterest pressure. And there was Brett… casually volunteering to help clean up after the party while everyone else made a beeline for the exit. (Chivalry clearly hadn’t died. It was just hiding in a well-dressed man with a charming smile and a knack for stacking chairs.)
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Hands down, our trip to Jamaica! From the moment we stepped off the plane, it felt like we’d landed in paradise… and also into a full-blown rom-com. Between the breathtaking views, the endless laughter, and Brett’s bold (and questionable) attempts at patois, it was unforgettable. We danced under the stars, ate way too much jerk chicken, and had way too much rum punch!
What would you do with $20,000?We’d put it towards the wedding of our dreams filled with love, laughter, and just the right amount of sparkle and take our first steps into forever with a solid start. From “I do” to “let’s adult together,” this would help us celebrate our big day and kick off our life as newlyweds. Bonus points if there’s enough left for a honeymoon with drinks served in coconuts and zero Wi-Fi.
