How did your love story begin?

We were 15 years old, I was friends with his sister and we were catching up since we hadn’t seen each other since we were around age 8. I saw him getting out of a vehicle and I swear all I saw around him was black and white and heard nothing his sister was saying anymore. A few days later he asked me to the movies. We saw Rocky (still have the tickets) and it was an adventure from there. One we are absolutely still on. He is my absolute best friend. And we share 2 amazing children together

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Becoming parents together for sure. Seeing our daughter for the first time. Hearing her cry. Seeing all the features she shares between the 2 of us. Then came our son… same but different. It’s hard to explain. It’s so beautiful. Knowing these beautiful babies wouldn’t exist with out us! And even then going into teen years, everyday is an adventure and learning something new for both us with them and them with us. Providing for them in ways that we never had. The stability is so important to us.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would definitely update our old home. It’s very over due for so many serious issues that need addressing. This is the only Home our children have ever known and it’s got strong bones but so much work needs to be done because of the age of the home. We would also try to go on a honeymoon. We never had a wedding or honeymoon. We got married young in a local courthouse that no longer exists so a small honeymoon together would be a complete dream come true.
