Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on bumble about a month before Chloe was set to have brain surgery. We kept trying to meet before and the ONLY time it worked out was the NIGHT before brain surgery. So Chloe drove to the frat house and we had a great night. There were some surgerical complications and a 28 hour coma, but once she woke up, the rest was history....

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Probably when we road tripped to Colorado!! It was a super last minute trip and we only had 5 hours to pack before we had to hit the road. For us, it was an easy choice. When so much of your life has been controlled by hospitals, you quickly learn to embrace the last minute adventures whenever you can. We dove straight there and spent a week with Chloe's sister and nieces. We went up a mountain, had movie nights and family dinner. It was everything you could ever want.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would pay for a wedding and a down payment on a house. We want to start our lives desperately and in the way they truly deserve to be celebrated. However, with all the medical bills, paying for a wedding has been fully out of the question and it's truly sad sometimes. The thing that saved Chloe, which we are so grateful for, is the same thing that is keeping us from starting the life we've dreamed. We are grateful for what we have and we are happy, but who doesn't want their dream wedding ❤️
