What makes us a great couple is we do almost everything together (57 yrs.) because we would rather be with each other than with anyone else.

Our love story began in high school when I first asked her for a date, and she walked away (thinking I was talking to her best friend). Our love bloomed as a couple. From that time on, we have been separated at night only about twenty times since our marriage in 1968. We think of our love like that expressed in verses from Poe's "Annabel Lee": ""we loved with a love that was more than love" and neither angels nor demons "Can ever dissever my soul from the soul" from the other one of us.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory as a couple was our family vacation to Disney World with our adult children and their spouses and our two grandsons to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We all wore t-shirts alike with our 50th anniversary celebration announcement emblazoned for all to see. Our son and his wife arranged for special pictures to be taken for the event and a dinner on the night exactly 50 years to the hour from the evening we were married.
What would you do with $20,000?We would share with family and perhaps take a family trip to make more memories.
