After my grandfather passed, my grandmother developed Alzheimer’s and just wanted to”to go home”. I found and bought back her childhood home, moving 3000 miles to do so. He and I crashed into each other in a doorway at the only restaurant in the area I was familiar with.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Oh my. We’ve run businesses together and were foster parents for some amazing children. I think seeing our foster daughter graduate and being able to take her and her boyfriend (now her husband) to New Orleans to celebrate her success!
What would you do with $20,000?We would move closer to the Veterans Affairs hospital in Asheville, NC. The drive is long and we need to be closer for the care I need.
