Believe it or not, we met in an intensive outpatient group for recovering addicts. We joke about it being a “rehab romance”. Not exactly a Cinderella story, but nonetheless, he’s been my night in tie-dye armor. We both came from very bike pasts and I think all either one of us needed was to know what it felt like to be unconditionally loved. We found that in each other.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory together is getting to start our lives together. The first time we put curtains up in our new house, having and raising a son together, watching all of the kids play in the back yard with tears in our eyes because we were so grateful for the experience of watching them laugh, the nights we spend together staying up late and laughing like we’re little kids at a sleepover. There are so many good memories. We are best friends.
What would you do with $20,000?We would invest the $20,000 in our family owned business we recently started.
