My husband and I have gone through some very hard times, but it’s always pushed us closer. There’s nothing we can’t do together.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Serugas in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
First date i actually ended up spending the night due to some weather and car concerns and the next morning it felt like a movie. He was making me breakfast and it just felt like home. 2 weeks later we said “i love you” and from there it was just pure fun, joy, and chaos. I moved in 4 months into dating and what was once a bachelor pad became a home. Everyday was its own beautiful journey.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I know it sounds cliche, but our wedding day. Everything leading up to the wedding was a bit chaotic. My husband had gotten into a car accident. Some family drama had happened, but on that day everything and I truly mean EVERYTHING worked out. I remember every detail like it was yesterday. That moment walking up to my best friend and soon to be husband felt like I was finally starting my life. It felt like I was coming home and that home was going to be there forever. I am home.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the money to put down on a house. My husband and i found out recently that we are expecting a baby. It’s such a blessing but our little home can only make do for so long but no matter what I know my husband and i can get through anything together. He is my home and that’s what is most important at the end of the day.
