Our love started at a fragrance counter—I waited on him and he was so kind. Later, by chance, friends set us up on a blind date. He met me early in my transition and never looked back. He’s supported me through surgeries, helped me find confidence, and together we’ve built homes, a life, and his business. We’ve weathered hurricanes, loss, and everything in between. Our love is built on strength, growth, and unshakable connection.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of my favorite memories is us standing in the middle of our first finished home—no furniture, just fresh paint and quiet and dancing together in the empty living room. After everything we had been through, it felt like a moment where time stopped. Just us, in a home we built with love and our own hands. It was simple, but it was everything.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won the $20,000, we’d first pay off some of the debt we took on during my transition journey something deeply personal and important to us. We’d love to invest in our home, take a dream trip to Europe or finally visit New York City—we’ve never been up north or out of the South. And we’d each set aside a portion to donate to a private charity close to our hearts, giving back in honor of how far we’ve come together. 🏳️⚧️ 💜
