It all began eleven years ago, in the most unromantic of settings: an AT&T store. I walked in, needing a new phone, and there he was,my salesman, Jamell.We dated for a few months, but fresh out of a serious relationship, I wasn't ready to dive back in. So, we became friends. For the next 2 yrs, Jamell was the persistent, charming lunch buddy, always checking in. My friends, seeing something I hadn't yet fully acknowledged, finally nudged me"Why don't you give him a real chance?" In 2017 I did!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory? Our first Christmas in our new home. We picked out our tree, then cozied up in PJs with hot cocoa. Six months cancer-free, married, homeowners – just us, cuddled by the tree lights, with our cats and pups, overflowing with gratitude. Pure joy.
What would you do with $20,000?A Second Chance at Life and Love If we win, we'll pay off bills and finally take the honeymoon we missed because of my cancer diagnosis. This is our chance to live life to the fullest, cherish each other, and embrace the incredible second chance we've been given!
