Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in 9th grade when he used Chess Club as the perfect excuse to see me—his sponsor just happened to be my science teacher. He’d “drop by” during class, flashing that boyish smile, just to steal a moment with me. What started as sweet interruptions turned into deep conversations, shared dreams, and young love that grew stronger with time. From teenage flutters to forever love—we’ve been each other’s person ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory as a couple is the birth of our son, Damian—a moment that changed everything and brought our love full circle. But just as meaningful has been every step we’ve taken since. Through every degree I’ve earned and every wild dream I’ve chased, he’s been by my side—cheering me on, holding me up, and believing in me even when I doubted myself. His unwavering support has made every accomplishment even more special, because we’ve achieved it all together.

What would you do with $20,000?

f we were given $20,000, I would use it to bring his dream to life—just as he’s supported every step of mine. He stood by me as I built my practice, always believing in my vision, encouraging me through the highs and lows. Now it’s my turn to invest in his future. This money would help launch his small business concept—something he’s dreamed of for years. I want him to feel the same joy and pride I felt, knowing I’m right there, cheering him on every step of the way.
