Connect How did your love story begin?

In 2021 we both decided to try out a dating app, we matched, were each others first and only dates and the rest is history! We get dressed up and have a date night on the anniversary of our first date, at the same restaurant (and table!) every year, we can’t wait to include our baby girl for the first time this year. I’d like to say we both knew from the very beginning that it was meant to be, we dated for a little over a year before getting engaged (in the most romantic way) in March of 2023.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I remember asking my husband when was it that he first knew he loved me and he told me it was while we were camping out overnight for a special Taylor Swift record on Record Store Day 2022. There was nothing glamorous about it, just hanging out in lawn chairs in the freezing cold rainy night but we had the best time chatting with each other and now we’ve invested in a tent and go back every single year. It’s something I look forward to every year, just a fun night together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We found out we were expecting our first child in July 2024 and knew we needed to upsize our home. We were so lucky to be able to find the perfect place and move in at the end February just 2 weeks before she made her arrival! We would love to put some money towards our home, as well as setting up a small savings for our daughter. And hey, we will even treat ourselves to a nice date night at our favorite restaurant. Money is a plus but either way we have both already won with our little family!
