We met at a skating rink in Euclid, Ohio. I was 12 and he was 17. I told him that I was older than I actually was and he told his best friend that I was the girl he was going to marry- that same night. We remained friends after he found out how old I was and kept in touch by talking on the phone. About six years later, I needed a date for my senior prom, so I called Fred and asked him to go with me. We started dating just after I asked him to prom.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We went on a cruise for our 25th anniversary and “auditioned “ for their “Love and Marriage” game. What we did to actually win the spot was hilarious. We had to act like Tarzan and Jane first meeting. He gave a Tarzan yell and threw me over his shoulder and ran down the aisle. The actual game was secondary to that audition.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take our children and their families on a well deserved family trip. We have been wanting to do it for a while, but circumstances prevented us from doing so. Our family is very important to us.
