Connect How did your love story begin?

One day my mom FaceTimed me to show a cute guy named Scott who was working at their house. Learning he was in a relationship I told my mom, “I’m playing the long game, he’s worth the wait.” Months later I get a text from my mom saying, “HE’S SINGLE!” Meanwhile, she blurts out to Scott, “Oh good, now you can date my daughter! I’ve always wanted you as a son-in-law!” I went over to my parents after work to nonchalantly run into him. He asked me out & a few weeks later we had our first date.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Selecting our wedding venue. The moment we stepped into the conservatory my heart stopped. Then all the sudden I felt Scott grab me and we start slow dancing. I immediately started to cry. We felt this amazing connection with the venue and each other. And when we learned our cat Ollie could be the ring bearer, we KNEW it was the place!

What would you do with $20,000?

Growing up each of us had a dream of living on a farm. Our goal is to get a big piece of land with plenty of space for tons of animals, ones that we own and ones that we rehabilitate and foster. In addition, we want to setup a motocross track that can be enjoyed by friends & family and hopefully host a few events for the motocross community. And we're thinking of creating a wedding venue too! We want to share our happiness with everyone & everything. We’d love to make our dream into a reality!
