Connect How did your love story begin?

I used to have an online blog that she followed. We became online friends over the years. Once we were both single at the same time, we admitted we always had a crush on the other. The way that convo started, she shared a new profile pic (fresh short hair cut, new clothes, looking confident) and I messaged and said "What the eff happened to you? You are hot, we should talk". She was like 'Pardon??" I still cannot believe she didn't run away with that line!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have oh so many laughing together! The night we were married, she had a bit much to drink (she isn't a drinker) and during our dance, she caught my toenail on her shoe and ripped my nail off. I took off to the bathroom, bleeding. She came in shortly after asking what happened, she was gonna kick someone's azz and I knew without a doubt in that moment, she was the right choice for me. She was going to have my back, no matter what.

What would you do with $20,000?

We didn't get the destination wedding we wanted because we chose instead to use those funds to help pay for the funeral costs of her mother who passed shortly before. We have never travelled outside the US together and that is a dream of ours, to travel. We want to go Australia so I can shark dive or Ireland for my ancestral roots! She wants to see Italy or Greece for the food and I would be down for that also! We just want to stamp our passport with something!
