How did your love story begin?

It actually began back in Middle School, my wife, Renee, became infatuated with me from the moment she laid eyes on me. She tried talking to me but I was a shy heavyset boy and brushed her off and tried avoiding her. She then began meeting me in front of my choir class right after the bell rang. After I went to high school we lost contact until she saw me through my then best friend’s, who was her then boyfriend, MySpace. We would casually talk and ended up dating after she they broke up.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Everyday that she’s still here with me is a favorite memory of mine, but I think my top favorite memory would be when we got married, seeing just how happy and beautiful she was. I’ve never seen her with a bigger smile and her smile just makes me happy and brightens my day. I was a slow mover and it had taken me quite some time to propose to her and then more time, but not quite as long, for me to get around to marry her. I cherish every moment we share together and she makes me a better person.

What would you do with $20,000?

This would be life changing for us, we would use this money as a down payment for our first actual house. We have 2 kids, a 15 year old and a 5 (about to be 6) year old, and we’ve only ever lived with family or in apartments and we’ve been dying to get an actual house together. Between having the kids and moving closer to my wife’s specialist, due to my wife’s serious medical condition, known as PAH, we haven’t had a chance to save anything to go towards one. It’s my wife’s biggest dream.
