How did your love story begin?

We met by chance the night he moved to my city. It wasn’t instant love, just a spark we didn’t expect. Weeks later, we reconnected and stayed up all night talking. Then came the surprise: I was pregnant before we were even a couple. It was messy, uncertain, but honest. We learned each other through parenthood, through exhaustion, laughter, and quiet moments. Slowly, we fell in love with who we became, together. Not perfect, but real. And that made it everything.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories as a couple was our first road trip home from San Diego. We stopped at every quirky tourist attraction we could find, just soaking up the adventure and each other. That trip became the start of a tradition and now every time we hit San Diego (which isn’t too often now ), we stop at Dateland, a sweet little nod to that unforgettable journey that started it all.

What would you do with $20,000?

After 8 years together and building a life with our 3 amazing girls, we’d use $20,000 to take our first real family vacation. We’ve worked so hard and never had the chance to create those lasting memories together. Our oldest, now 7, brought Ian and me together and has been the best big sister, we want to give her the joy she gives us every day. As newly engaged parents, this would be a chance to celebrate love, family, and the beautiful life we’ve built with the people who made it all possible.
