My boyfriend (Lalo) and I have been dating for almost a year now. We’re 17 and doing long distance of over 500 miles!
We would like to thank you for supporting The Ringlets in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
It all began when I was at my best friends house, on the phone with his ex best friend (who I liked at the time). I wasn’t really paying attention when I heard the door close. “Wow..she’s really pretty,” He whispered. Somehow I blushed bright red just from the compliment. It felt sincere. I had been used a lot in the past which made it hard to believe when I got genuine a compliment. I then got to know him, and told him I’d only be official with him if he met me in person first..and so he did!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory was probably when I met him the first time. 4 months after we met, I was in the hotel lobby waiting for him. I remember pacing around, I was soo nervous. His dad drove him all the way from North Carolina (I’m in CT for reference) to me just so we could meet. I remember the wait being painstakingly long. Within seconds of seeing him he asked me to be his girlfriend..I said yes immediately before kissing him for the first time. We’re almost a year in and I couldn’t be luckier!
What would you do with $20,000?Since we’re both about to move out we’d use the money to rent an apartment. We’ve been dreaming of the days where we can fall asleep in each other’s arms. It’s the little things that I want to experience with him. He saved me so much, I have no idea who I’d be without him. It sounds silly since I’m only 17, but I’ve never been so sure of something in my life. I want to grow old with him, marry him, just experience life with him. I love him and I would do anything to give him the life he deserves
