My husband and I are two halves of the same whole— we bake together, write together, and we couldn’t be happier.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
I had been on okCupid for a year— always meeting guys, always getting ghosted (seems they couldn’t handle my stunning personality). He’d been on for a month, and we’d just happened to open up our search radius to 70 miles at the same time. We messaged— he was into it, I was admittedly lukewarm. If it wasn’t for a casting event I had to attend in between our locations and my friend bringing a date, I don’t think we ever would have actually met. When we saw each other, we knew.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? When we were first dating, we’d see movies halfway between the two of us— during only our second outing, I fell asleep on him watching Meryl Streep in August Osage County. We kissed behind a dumpster for the first time. I’ve still never seen that movie.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly? We’d put it away— we’re beginning a fertility journey, and should we get lucky enough to get pregnant naturally, it’d be a nice nest-egg. If not, help with IUI or IVF is ideal!
