We were both coming out of heartbreak from previous relationships. It was May of 2020 when we started talking through a dating app. I was instantly drawn to his photo, in which he was wearing a shirt that said “Very Stable Genius”. That told me that we would definitely get along. We agreed to meet at the one restaurant in our town that was serving food outside in a socially-distant capacity. We hit it off immediately. I asked him back to my place and I joke that he never left.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many, however I will always treasure our wedding day. We had a small ceremony in his parents’ backyard, with his stepfather officiating. We served gourmet grilled cheese, sheet cake, and beer, surrounded by our families and closest friends. That day perfectly encapsulated our values as a couple, and you can still find us in the same backyard chasing our two beautiful children on any summer evening.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put $20,000 toward two things that are most important to us — our children and our extended family. $20,000 would allow us to invest in our son and daughter’s education, as well as plan a family beach vacation to spend time with the people who support and love us.
