My husband and I have been together for 13 years and our love story isn’t perfect at all but we’ve loved each other through all of it!

My husband and I knew each other through my best friend. One day Marcus finished the lyrics to Mercy by Kanye on a Facebook status I had posted. It was 2012 lol. I asked my best friend to give him my number because I thought he was very handsome. We started texting and were a couple soon after.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?A week after Marcus and I started texting I ghosted him because I was struggling with a lot of anxiety and had to go to the hospital because of it. The day I got out and got my phone back I saw he texted me wanting to hang out that night. I almost blew him off but my mom encouraged me to have get out of the house. We couldn’t hang out until he got off work that night and we ended up just walking around my neighborhood all night and we talked for 6 hours. We talked about any and everything!
What would you do with $20,000?We got married in 2021 and the world was just starting to open up again after COVID. We ended up having a very small quickly thrown together wedding. We didn’t have a reception. We just had family meet us at a restaurant. I loved our wedding but after everything we’ve been through I would love to be able to celebrate our love the way it deserves to be celebrated and have a first dance with my husband.
