We met in person for the first time at The Frat Lots (UofSC), talk about finding love in a hopeless place. He was a Clemson guy & I’m a Carolina girl so for 3 years he was friend zoned, until one day he agreed that if we dated, we would be a Gamecock household. We dated for 3 years before getting engaged. Matthew exceeded all expectations with the proposal. It was a complete surprise involving a sunset flight over the Charleston harbor and loved ones flying in from all over to celebrate.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My most cherished memory with Matthew is a day we spent at the beach. We hung at the beach all day with friends and ended up staying for a sunset picnic just us. I have a vivid memory of him & I being the only ones left on the beach and we were just dancing, twirling me around. We were having the time of our lives as the sun went down. It felt like we were kids again having the best day of summer ever!
What would you do with $20,000?With the prize money, we would pay for our wedding on June 6, 2026. Weddings in Charleston are no joke! It would be a huge stress reliever to have this money to pay for the day that we will celebrate our marriage and spending the rest of our lives together!
