She was a bridesmaid in her friend’s wedding and traveled from FL to GA, I was a groomsmen in my friends wedding. The bachelor and bachelorette parties met at the end of the night and we starting getting to know each other. She moved to Georgia less than two months later and we’ve been together the 11 years since, and married for 9 years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We’ve managed to visit a national park each year for 5 years or so, we just finished Yellowstone and Grand Tetons this week! Getting out of our comfort zone and standing in the mist of waterfalls or peering over high ledges is a pastime, and the visual memories and portraits from those trips are cherished.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d likely split it between fantasy and reality - I’d probably take her on a respectable tropical vacation, maybe Bahamas or Puerto Rico, and we’d use the rest to pay off student loans and/or our son’s education fund.
