How did your love story begin?

Our hearts found their way back to each other two years after high school, when fate brought us home from our separate military journeys. Though miles stretched between Georgia and Louisiana, love made the distance disappear. Every weekend for a year and a half, he would drive halfway just to hold me in his arms again. From the moment we reunited, we both felt God’s gentle hand guiding us toward forever. Our souls recognized what they had always known - we were meant to be each other’s home.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The moment that lives forever in my heart happened as those chapel doors opened and I began my walk toward forever. When my eyes found his face, I saw pure, overwhelming love reflected back at me - a look so tender and full of wonder that time itself seemed to pause. In that sacred moment, I knew I was walking not just down an aisle, but into the arms of my soulmate, where I would remain for all eternity.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would find our perfect piece of Texas soil where our love could take root and flourish. This land would become our sanctuary - a place where we could nurture not only our own growing family and give our beloved dogs room to run free, but also create a haven of hope for rescue dogs around the world. It would be our foundation for building something beautiful together, where our love could ripple out and touch other hearts in need.
