We met at work. He was an assistant store manager and I was a merchandising associate. Our first conversation was of him asking me to use a Lowe’s safe ladder to fluff the display Christmas trees instead of the bucket I was standing on. Our safety team was in house and he didn’t want me to get into trouble. Plus it’s wasn’t really safe. From there, we would just have conversations every morning. They started out like five minutes long, and then eventually grew into like 45 minute conversations.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we traveled the U.K and Europe for two and a half weeks. We went to London last October for the Minnesota Vikings game. That’s where he proposed, in front of hundreds of Vikings fans. It was such a perfect day. We won the game later on too.
What would you do with $20,000?We would go back to London this October for the Vikings game. It’s one day shy of the one year anniversary of him proposing. We would also use that as our honeymoon. We just got married three weeks ago.
