He was 3, at a local playground with his mom. Also at the playground that faithful day, my aunt, and little cousin. The adults struck up conversation that led to exchanging numbers, and soon play dates. Ultimately a lifelong friendship began . As kids we all hung out until the street lights came on, joking each other's moms, riding bikes, and swimming. Our families became very close. Holiday's birthday's and school dances. We saw each others ups and downs! AND WE’RE STILL TOGETHER! 😜👋

So many memories! 😁 I think our favorite memory as a couple would have to be one of our first family vacations. We rented a cabin in the mountains of NC. We bought tickets for a train ride, The Polar Express, on Christmas Eve, with two little ones and a pre-teen. The night before, we made a train gingerbread house and then watched the movie. We suprised the kids, I remember the looks, so happy, and so confused! Truley magic for us as a young couple!

We have been on the road from SC to NC since June 2024, helping our families. My father-in-law had hip replacement surgery earlier this year. He was the primary care giver of my 84-year-old mother-in-law who has dementia. We became their care givers. At the same time, my mom had a series of strokes. 20k would help us be more comfortable while continuing our mission of caring for others.
