Connect How did your love story begin?

I already knew who he was—he performed at my high school pep rally! But we officially met 8 years ago at a radio station. He was always the jokester—until the day he saw me and went quiet. He turned suave, guessed I was wearing lavender (it was Gucci). We bonded over helicopter moms and silly accents. On our first date, we blasted Backstreet Boys and sang at the top of our lungs. I kissed him first—we were both surprised but loved it. He’s my first, my last, my everything.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have many favorite memories, but our love of music stands out. Seeing the Jonas Brothers together—me singing my heart out, him pretending not to like them—was pure joy. He surprised me with Imagine Dragons tickets, a little after my grandma had passed. When one song hit close to home, he wrapped me in his arms, and I felt the safest and most loved I’ve ever been, just being together in that moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

We got engaged last year, after seven years together and will be getting married next year. No matter what life has brought us-we've been together through it all, forever choosing one another. We like to consider ourselves late bloomers because although our story has taken a little longer, our love story is my favorite. We'd love to not only use the money for the wedding, but to find our first and forever home together.
