Connect How did your love story begin?

It started in high school biology as we would constantly work together on our projects. Eventually we ended up on the school newspaper together and found out we enjoyed the same music and had similar life dreams! We parted ways to go to different colleges but always found time to see each other on our breaks. One thing led to another, and we ended up in the same city at the same college to be together. Haven’t left each others side since!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory together was exploring New York City together when we were just 20 years old. It was my first time ever on a plane and we were really new to seeing the world! We spent 8 days exploring everything we could and having the most fun of our lives. We saw shows, walked everywhere, learned how to use public transportation and ate the best food in the world. The excitement we felt from being able to enjoy ourselves like that still lives in us and we cherish those memories forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were lucky enough to win, we’d use a small portion to finally go on a honeymoon together. We were married in 2020 but our wedding was canceled with a 4-day notice due to COVID. After the pandemic we had a child then brought in two more through the foster system. We haven’t had the funds to truly go on vacation so we’d use a little bit to enjoy ourselves! After that, we’d continue to set up our family for success and stability, raising 3 (soon-to-be 4) children requires a lot of resources!
