Fifteen years apart couldn’t break a bond built on faith, love, and friendship. We’re living proof that timing is everything.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Petersons in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Hunter and I met when we were 11 and 12—each other’s first boyfriend and girlfriend during a summer we’ll never forget. Life took us in different directions, but 15 years later, we reconnected during a weekend back home. We saw each other six times in just a few days and instantly knew this was something special. What started as young love came full circle—and became forever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory has to be our engagement and wedding. Hunter proposed at my absolute dream location—Pretty Place Chapel—with the most breathtaking view behind us. It was everything I had ever imagined and more. From that moment to the day we said “I do,” it felt like a dream come true. Every detail was perfect, and I’ll hold onto those memories forever.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we’d finally take the leap and start the business we’ve been dreaming about—whether it’s launching an Airbnb, opening a flower shop, or something that brings our passions to life. We want to build something meaningful, not just for us, but to create a strong, beautiful foundation for our future kids and the life we’re working so hard to build together.
