Twenty-two years later, we still can’t believe how close we came. We’ve had highs, lows, and a honeymoon funded by pocket change. Our first Thanksgiving was a Cornish hen. He dances in the store just to make me laugh. Our story is proof what's meant to be will always find a way--eventually.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many favorites, but He invited me to go berry picking with him. I had never been before and he gave me a bucket, I was so excited. As I was coming back down the hill I slipped and all the berries landed on the ground I slid down berry stained and all. We laughed joked and I cried but he just looked at me smiled and said he loves me. We made it home with 3 buckets full and baked a pie with some of the fresh berries.
