We have been friends since 2005, nerding out together through our love for Star Wars and Disneyland. We've traveled together, spent holidays together. In 2020, it was obvious that there was more than friendship there and we finally worked up the courage to admit that we had crushes on each other. We were married less than a year later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In June is 2021, I suffered a miscarriage at 10 weeks. We were devastated. But it made us realize that the most important thing to us was being together, all the time (We had been in a long distance relationship since getting together). We decided to have a small civil ceremony at my best friend's house in the redwoods. It is a day that we will never forget.
What would you do with $20,000?In the almost 4 years that we've been married, we have yet to be able to take a honeymoon. We would use a small portion of the money for that. The rest would go to help us prepare to welcome foster children into our home. We are in the process of becoming foster parents and cannot wait for this new adventure.
