We met on spring break during our college years at the University of Iowa. On a 24-hour bus ride from Iowa City to South Padre Island, TX, we laughed and danced together the whole way. It was truly love at first sight. Over the next few years at Iowa, we built countless memories and grew our love deeper every day. Now, after all this time, we’re more in love than ever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our wedding day was the most magical day of our lives. On a sunny 85-degree July day in downtown Chicago, we said “I do” at Holy Name Cathedral. Our reception at The Drake was filled with 300 of our closest friends and family. My grandma and cousin sang during our first dance, and we celebrated until 3 a.m., with the dance floor packed all night. We laughed, loved, and felt so much joy surrounded by everyone we cherish most.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 as a down payment on our first home—a place where we dream of raising our future children and creating a lifetime of memories. This home will be the heart of our family, filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures. It’s where we’ll grow together, support each other, and build the beautiful life we’ve always imagined.
