How did your love story begin?

We met just before COVID, bonded over shared losses, and became close friends. When he needed help, he moved in with my son and me. As the world shut down, our friendship deepened, and we began dating. Six months later, we were engaged, and four years later, we got married on May 8th of this year. Beyond lovers, we are best friends and each other's home, united through every challenge.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our first trip to the North Carolina Renaissance Festival. Will introduced me to a vibrant world I had never seen before, and I fell even more in love with him and the magical atmosphere. That day was filled with laughter and adventure, deepening our bond. It’s become a cherished family tradition for us to return every year, celebrating not just the festival but also the joy of being together. Each visit brings new memories, laughter, and love.

With $20,000, we would put it towards a down payment on a home, a significant step in building our future together.
