We met 10 years while we were working on a cruise ship, and have had a ton of fun doing the things that bring us and others joy!
We would like to thank you for supporting The Panchitos in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
When Kate was working on a cruise ship, Nick joined and started working as well. Kate's roommate brought a picture of this boy back to their room to show, and from then Kate kept seeing Nick everywhere. Then one night, Kate saw Nick in the Galley and his apron was on wrong, so she went right up to him, told him he was wrong, untied his apron, reached around him to retie it, then walked away. From that moment on, a love began to grow.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our first date, we went hiking on the Napali Coast in Kauai. The whole time, Kate was trying to not be out of breath while hiking uphill. Eventually the hike brought us to a stunning waterfall where another couple thought it was so stunning they could spend some alone time there... After they left we had a beautiful, more quiet, time. We hiked back with the sunset, had a stranger take our picture, and picked up Mexican food. We then sat on Kate's tiny ship bedroom floor eating take-out.
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 dollars would give us breathing room in life. Between car and house payments, student loans, and the cost of everyday life, we could use the money to offset things, and maybe not feel bad about buying something fun and whimsical.
