My husband and I met in August 1995 at a night club. He met my friends the weekend before at the same club, he recognized them, then saw me and asked me to dance. We exchanged numbers and shortlt after began dating. We dated until October 1995. We broke up but reunited in January 1996. We officially became a couple in April 1996. We got engaged in June of 1999, married in August of 1999 and had our one and only child in August of 2001. We just became grandparents in April 2023.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There is not just one memory because every moment we spend together is my favorite. In 2021, I was hospitalized for 6 months and those 6 months away from each other were some of the hardest months we've ever endured. That separation and our unwavering love for each other is why every memory is sacred and cherished.
What would you do with $20,000?Take a much needed vacation. Somewhere we've dreamed of going but have never had the time or funds to go on. Something just for us. For too long, our life has revolved around family but not just us a couple and after almost 26 years of marriage, I feel we deserve to treat ourselves and to put us first.
