This year is our 10th anniversary! we have been together since we were 14 and we are inseparable opposites!
We would like to thank you for supporting the Olivers in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in highschool, we were both 14 in science class. I (Noelle) just moved to Pennsylvania from Mississippi and was pretty extroverted making friends at my new school. Jordan was more shy, but he caught my attention by taking apart my mechanical pencil, leaving the peices rolling around my desk during class. We got in trouble for laughing in class and were separated to opposite sides of class. We became friends and I (Noelle) asked him to homecoming and we went together and the rest history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?my favorite memory as a couple in the more recent years is going grocery shopping together. Since jordan is in the military and is regularly deployed or away, when we are together we have the most fun just being together. We laugh so hard in the grochery store sometimes I need to sit on the ground to catch my breath. We are each others best friends.
What would you do with $20,000?Jordan the ever practical one would probably pay off our cars first. (Boring) I would love to go on a honeymoon. We got married in a courthouse with not a dollar to our names when we were 22 years old. After our “wedding” we got a diner breakfast of eggs and cheap coffee! We never wanted a big wedding but we love the beach, and would really enjoy a reason to go on a honeymoon.
