A Summer night in 2015, Kenny walked into GameStop while I was working and asked if we had Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic for Original Xbox. We had known about each other for years, being friends with each other's friends, and we both had a crush on each other. We became best friends that night, and 4 years later (2019), he asked me on a date inconspicuously. "Do you wanna grab food on Thursday?" I said yes, and hours later I realized that Thursday was in fact, Valentines day.

Our first night living together in our rented duplex. We had Emily's queen sized bedroom set, a few lightly packed cardboard boxes, and each other. We sat on the floor of the living room, opened, and spilled, half of a bottle of red wine on our dingy white carpet. The first house rule was born, 'No opening bottles of wine outside of the kitchen'. We didn't have anything, it was just us against the world. In that moment, I wanted for nothing.

We became homeowners in 2024, so, we would spend most of it turning our modest house into our dream home! We would also invest at least $5,000, so one day we can travel the world together.
