Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began in 2005 at summer camp—he was a counselor, I was the dance teacher. What started as a friendship quickly grew into something more. From inside jokes to late-night talks, we fell in love. Years later, that summer spark turned into a lifetime commitment, and today we share a beautiful life with our two amazing daughters—rooted in love, laughter, and the strong, soulful spirit of growing up in the Bronx.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my most cherished memories is how my husband held me together when my father passed away. In my darkest moments, he was my light—comforting me, holding my hand, letting me cry without words. He picked up every broken piece of my heart with patience and love, never letting me fall apart alone. His strength during my grief showed me the depth of his love and reminded me I’d always have someone to lean on, no matter how heavy the pain.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, we’d finally take the honeymoon we never had. We got married during COVID and couldn’t travel, but we’ve always dreamed of exploring the world together. We’d use the money to create unforgettable memories, connect deeper as a couple, and show our daughters the power of love, dreams, and resilience. After years of giving our all to family and work, this would be a beautiful gift to us—and a long-overdue celebration of our journey.
