We have been friends since 1974, and I knew he was the one. He has asked me in 1983 to go out with him, I said yes, and he didn't believe me. I asked him out 2 yrs later in 1985, and we have been together since. He had told me that at one point during dating, he was going to break up with me, but he had a very strong feeling not to, and he is so glad he didn't act on that.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Both of us had weak kneed moments. We were all hanging out, and when he came walking over and I saw him, I had to grab onto the pole I was standing next to because I couldn't believe that handsome guy was my boyfriend. His was, he was playing street hockey. I was walking down the road towards them. I still had my office work clothes on, high heels and a pink fitting dress. He turned to his brother and says "who is that??". His brother says "that's Linda"...Steve was like "WOW"!
What would you do with $20,000?I was hit by a drunk driver 2 yrs ago. She destroyed the only car we had, so we had to get 2 used cars that have been nothing but nightmares. Our finances took a huge hit as well, as well as my mental and physical state. I am a Trauma Tech at a trauma center, and my husband is a produce buyer. We would use the money to get back on our feet, get decent vehicles, find a house of our own (we rent) and take our family on a fabulous getaway!! Even take my 80 yr old Mom to Graceland!!
