Friends & colleagues in the biz, we caught feelings (1st Sam, then me). A DJ in our crew saw our chemistry & bluntly asked how I felt about him. My face answered for me, & she told Sam. He hesitated to act, to maintain professionalism. One late night at a party, I sent a simple text "I love you". His phone died RIGHT THEN, so he only saw it after leaving & charging his phone... The party went out for breakfast, where my phone lit up with 3 simple words in return. The rest is basically history.🖤
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are SO many! But I would probably have to say our recent trip to Oahu, where we eloped on a beach in Waikiki is the favorite. It was our 1st vacation together outside the lower 48. I got to meet Sam's Hawaiian family, attend his cousin's amazing wedding; we snorkeled, hiked, swam in a waterfall, and danced our butts off. It was an amazing 2 weeks and we are already planning our return trip!
What would you do with $20,000?We have a few ideas. One would be to invest it into starting up our touring DJ business. We have part of what's needed, but still have a ways to go. Another plan would be to put it towards purchasing our first home, and fixing up Sam's car.
