How did your love story begin?

We were invited to the same game night, where he made me laugh all evening. I invited him country dancing, where we invented moves, and danced all night. We danced to the last song, then another one played. This occurred again, so he said “Third time’s a charm”. We made a bet, and I told him if he won, I would take him out to sushi. I won, and told him he did to get another date. On that date, his fortune said “what are you waiting for?” And that is how he asked me to be his girlfriend.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

For our first wedding anniversary, we took a trip to Glacier National Park. We enjoyed each other’s company in the solitude of the outdoors. We swam and paddle boarded in a cold lake next to our camp. We cooked things like steak and potatoes with cast iron on a propane stove. We drove Going-to-the-Sun Road, and spotted a mountain goat on the way. We enjoyed some ice cream and bought some huckleberry goodies from a shop on the west end. These are memories we’ll cherish forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would split it to pay off some of our debts and help a friend pay some of theirs.
