Our love story began through a mutual connection—whether you call him a godbrother, cousin, or friend—he was the bridge that brought us together. J.R. actually jumped into one of my Boomerangs! It was super organic—just his fun personality shining through in the moment. I ended up tagging him in the post, and from there, we stayed connected on social media. We tried a few times to link up, but timing just wasn’t on our side. Still, we kept in touch. So really, our love story started with laughs

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory that we’ve shared as a couple has to be the birthday we spent together right before our son was born. J.R. surprised me with a road trip back to the state where I went to college. It was such a full-circle moment—he planned everything so intentionally. I got to catch up with some of my college friends, eat at all my favorite spots, and show him around the town that meant so much to me.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we had $20,000, we’d definitely invest in our individual businesses—because we both believe in building something that reflects our passions and purpose. But beyond that, we’d put a portion toward purchasing property. Whether it’s land or a small investment property, ownership is important to us. It’s not just about having something now—it’s about building generational wealth and being able to pass something down to our children that holds value for years to come.
