We met in the late 1980's and reconnected 7 years ago. We had a pirate wedding last year in NJ! We have never been happier! 💜

Rick was the singer for Asylum Choir and played at the bar I was working at in Trenton, NJ. We talked for quite a while and he said "you're coming home with me tonight". I said no and he replied "don't you know who I am?" I said "yes" and walked away. We never forgot each other. We reconnected at the Cool Cricket in 2019 and have not looked back. We went through hell but found each other again and have never been happier. My love, my strength, my forever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our wedding day was the most memorable day ever! We were married by the "kilted minister", all the local musicians came out and played! We had a fire dancer and the most amazing pirate ship cake! So many people donated their time and resources as we could invite everybody! We were surrounded by so much love and support that day. We will be celebrating again this year with a renewal ceremony at the Nottingham Tavern on 7/20 at 6 pm. All are welcome to come and share our love and happiness!
What would you do with $20,000?I honestly don't know! Pay some outstanding bills? Probably a celebration for all the people who have supported us over the years and have shared in our joy at finally finding each other again. We have overcome so much to find our happy ending to a true love story.
