Connect How did your love story begin?

On Hinge! We met there shortly before Thanksgiving and ended up having our first date on my 30th birthday, where I told Ian that I was moving from Boston to head to Arizona just a couple of weeks later. He visited me in FL over Christmas and then came to Arizona at the end of March. As soon as he got back home to Boston, he quit his job, sold his car, and ended his lease so he could move to AZ to be with me.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Besides our wedding day, which was absolutely beautiful, I would say our first trip together to Sedona, which occurred only a few months into our relationship! We had so much fun hiking and trying the restaurants, but what made it special was that we each planned something for the other on one of the mornings. I booked him a tee time at a golf course I knew he wanted to try, and he booked me a massage. It was a sign of all the thoughtful actions to come.

What would you do with $20,000?

Buying our first home was exciting, but it turned stressful due to unexpected repairs that our inspector missed. These unforeseen expenses used most of the savings we'd planned to use on renovations & furniture. With $20,000, we'd prioritize making our house a home. This includes creating a much-needed nursery as we hope to start a family soon. Also, we postponed our honeymoon to buy a home & settled for a budget-friendly trip instead of our dream getaway. This would allow us a honeymoon redo!
